A home remodel should not be stressful. An informed client is a happy client. Our system has been developed to assure your ease of mind. We make sure that you know what to expect and are aware of any changes that may occur along the way. Here's what we do that sets us apart from our competition:
We create a schedule and stick to it! We build in "catch-up" days throughout so that if the inevitable, "unexpected" happens, it doesn't affect the important scheduled items and/or the completion date. We use Builder Trend project management software and a dedicated Project Manager to maintain communication throughout the project.
We take progress photos throughout the duration of the project and we upload these to Builder Trend. With your permission, weekly updates are posted on Facebook. These fun and informative posts explain what has happened this week and what is to come the following week. We also post "Before and After" photos on Houzz, Instagram and Yelp!
We keep you in the loop! You will receive a report from Builder Trend at the end of each day with an update for that particular day. This report will go over work completed that day and upcoming work.
First, we meet to discuss client goals and budget. Then a job walk is performed with trade partners in order to create a detailed bid. This helps avoid change orders and "cost creep" which can be common in the construction industry. The only change orders that occur are either due to: 1) Unforeseen conditions that are unknown before the project was started (I.E., something buried in the wall) or 2) Additional scope of work that a client requested. (I.E., a design change.)
Your project manager will schedule a final job walk with you to assure all parties are happy with the end result. A follow-up site visit will be set-up about 4 weeks after completion. This would be a “quality control” meeting to identify any issues that sometimes arise after you “move back in.”
In summary, effective communication reduces delays, saves money and fosters mutual understanding of desires and expectations.
